The Mines of Gloomingdeep

The Mines of Gloomingdeep is a tutorial dungeon designed for brand-new characters to learn the fundamentals of EverQuest combat and mechanics in a safe, contained environment with minimal threat. This underground mine features a single NPC instructor and basic skeleton and bat enemies appropriate for level 1-3 players, allowing new adventurers to gain their first experience points and practice combat before venturing into the wider world. Players visit this zone exclusively during their initial character creation experience before graduating to the newbie areas of their chosen race.
